I see this real often too!

Use this oneliner to find the erronous lines:

egrep -nv "^(10|9)[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]00 [0-9]+ [0-9]+ [0-9]+
[0-9]+$" papa/dpswitch01.spray.net.29.old

After a while you'll get familiar with the most frequent errors.
But I don't have a clue about the root of the problems..

It is related to rateup, because with rrdtool, we I don't see them.
