So if you are DSL based..
So means your Computer is connected to DSL stuff throug a NIC ??
Then monitor that NIC instead as I suppose unless you have a network in the
middle NIC traffic IS DSL traffic...

mrtg - dynamic ip problem
Hi!
I am sure that I am not the only person with that problem... but I could not
find any help for my problem: I installed MRTG successfully at my site
logging the dial up connection to my ISP and make those great statistics.
But the problem is that my isp disconnects me after 24hours and so my ip is
changing and the statistics for that dial up connection stops immediately
because it is ip based ... I think.. :) I don´t have any idea how to fix it
(ok I got one, but restarting isn´t that thing I want to do ;-) ) I tried my
luck in a couple of boards but no one could help me right now... hopefully
there is someone out there who can help me now :) my mrtg.cfg looks like the
following:
(p.s. sorry for my bad english. and if there is any wrong with writing in
here feel free to tell me - this is my first mailing list I joined.
