[mrtg] Re: Problems installing MRTG w/ RRDtool

Thanks for your help.

The numbers match what's in the .log file. I can run rrdtool.exe when I'm
in my c:\rrdtool\src\tool_release subdirectory. I have a PathAdd:
c:\rrdtool\srv\tool_release line in my mrtg.cfg file, so MRTG should be able
to run it as well. Prior to adding that PathAdd statement I received an
error that MRTG was unable to run RRDtool, so the absence of that error
leads me to think it's finding rrdtool.exe fine.

Any other ideas?

These errors also exist on my linux installation. They don't seem to be
related to your problem.

This one doesn't.

The numbers seem to be fine albeit rather high. If they are approximately
the same as the numbers in the first line of the 192.168.1.2_1.log file,
it probably hasn't to do with your problem either.

My guess is that rrdtool.exe cannot be found. Can you run that command?
If so, can MRTG run the command (can it find it).

No solution but hopefully a step closer to one.

cheers,
