[mrtg] mrtg internals

I am trying to graph a serial interface and a ethernet interface on a router.  I run cfgmaker returns correct info, start mrtg and run sniffer trace, I see the request for interface 1, then the reply with the approriate values, then I see the request for interface 3, the the reply with the appropriate values, however, when I look at the graph, interface 1 shows the correct values while interface 3 shows nothing.
