You may get some better replies from this list and less expensive
solutions, but within a Cisco environment the Netflow product provides
collection and analysis of egress (outbound) traffic counters. It is a
pretty accurate system for billing purposes but does require a fairly hefty
investment in both software and also the hardware for data storage.
Depending upon the critical nature of your requirements, you may be better
off with a "low-key" approach.

Hi all,
I would like to show to the clients their daily usage (as a
byte count), and thinking of using the .log files to add up a the values to
get the daily and weekly usage but from the .log files I am not sure where
the day starts and and ends (same problem for beginning of the week and
end...), and has anybody used any other method for that? Thanks
