Subject: [mrtg] Help ! E1-2600

Hi ,

    I have a cisco/2600 with a E1/PRI controller, that is configured to
    a unframed chanell of 2 M/sec. This create a Serial0/0:0 (mib ifindex = 4 ).
I am having problem to monitoring the traffic of this link.
This router have a fasteth that mrtg monitor without a problem.
    Cfgmaker returns me this :

### Interface 3 >> Descr: 'E1 0/0' | Name: 'E1 0/0' | Ip: '' | Eth: '' ###
### The following interface is commented out because:
### * it is a DS1 controllers
# # Target[xxxx]: 3:xxxxx at xxxxxxxx:
# SetEnv[xxxx]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR="E1 0/0"
# MaxBytes[xxxx]: 256000
....
# <TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD>E1 0/0 </TD></TR>
# <TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>ds1 (18)</TD></TR>
# <TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD>E1 0/0</TD></TR>
# <TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>256.0 kBytes/s</TD></TR>
# </TABLE>

### Interface 4 >> Descr: '' | Name: '' | Ip: 'xxxxx ip of my link xxxx' | Eth:
'' ###
### The following interface is commented out because:
### * has a speed of which makes no sense
#
# Target[xxxxx]: 4:xxxxxx at xxxxxxxx:
# SetEnv[xxxx]: MRTG_INT_IP=" ip of my link " MRTG_INT_DESCR=""
# MaxBytes[xxxxx]: 0
...
# <TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD> </TD></TR>
# <TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD> ()</TD></TR>
# <TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD></TD></TR>
# <TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>0.0 Bytes/s</TD></TR>
# <TR><TD>Ip:</TD> <TD>200.255.61.146
(rtr-internet.ipiranga.com.br)</TD></TR>
# </TABLE>

I try diferents targets but doesn't work. When i force the interface 4,
mrtg returns:

   2002-08-06 16:50:26 -- WARNING: Expected a number but got '#<unprintable BER
type 0x81>'
   2002-08-06 16:50:26 -- WARNING: Expected a number but got '#<unprintable BER
type 0x81>'

    Anyone could help me !!!!

   Thanks,

      Bernardo
