Why not use SNMP Traffic Grapher?  Great tool!

Real-time monitoring with controllable polling intervals!

I am wondering if anyone knows if I can  change the interval
to a LOWER number - save every 1 minute - so that I can use
the graphs to help identify a network issue that lasts only 3 mins
in duration.
