You left of the instance.

.1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.7.3.1.5.0

Since snmpwalk does a get-next, it will find the instance.

Using getif, click on httpStatistics in the mib tree, click on "Start" or
"Walk" to retrieve everything below that level, click on the line in the mib
browser window that says:

enterprises.microsoft.software.internetServer.httpServer.httpStatistics.tota
lFilesSent.0: xxxx

You can then right-click, copy the entire OID, with instance, from the
bottom line of fields, for pasting into your mrtg cfg.

Subject: [mrtg] Windows monitoring

HI all,

This might be a little off topic, but I don't know where else to ask.
I'm trying to monitor some counters on my Win2K server but most of counters
are either empty or zero, when I try to see then using getif.

When I try go get using the snmpget on unix I get:
Error in packet
Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.
This name doesn't exist: enterprises.311.1.7.3.1.5

when I try snmpwalk .1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.7.3.1.5 I get a value, but I don't
get on snmpget.

Is there any hack that needs to be done on the Windows side?

Thanks a lot.
