[mrtg] Aggregate interface monitoring and the MaxBytes parameter

Hello,

I want to write some config files that generate an accurate aggregation of bandwidth per blade in our catalyst switches. I had initially set the MaxBytes parameter to 1250000, since the ports in question are all 10mbit ports. I was not encouraged by the results - each graph was showing less traffic per blade than was realistic.

Do I have my MaxBytes set too low? Should it be, say, 30000000 (1250000*24) for a 24 port blade?
