[mrtg] non-snmp graphs

Greetings,


I am pretty familiar with MRTG when used in an SNMP environment, however I
have no clue how to use MRTG to use raw logfiles.

I have an email system that provides daily logs of how many
smtp/pop3/virus/spam messages were sent to the server, and I would like to
use MRTG to create graphs based upon these numbers.  Any advise or links to
sample sites with similar solutions would be appreciated.
