[mrtg] weird graphs

hey !!

was wondering if someone can shed some light into some weird stuff going on.

i'm running latest mrtg on win2k. no problems with that. monitoring a few
switches and a few routers.

being going well for about a year now. 

this morning i come in to check on usage, and all the graphs are flatlined.
the graphs look like when you stop mrtg on an interface for a while, and
then when you restart it you get mrtg "filling in" for the times that were
missed. well it looks exactly like that. 

however, i have verified that mrtg is running (don't get any errors). i
copied a cfg file and changed the output dir, and the results that get spit
out is "normal".

i would more than love to kill the log files and start over, but mgmt
wouldn't allow that.

anyone have any clue on how to rectify this ?  i'm rather stumped.
