I meant non-mrtg (iptraf is interactive), but clearly that's not what
you want as you asked on the mrtg-list. Sorry. It's still early.

Anyway. You can do this by setting up firewall-rules (iptables) with
accounting that match the traffic that you're interested in and then
monitor the firewall with mrtg. Not sure if the best way to monitor the
firewall is using snmp (I think net-snmp has a module for monitoring
iptables) or directly with a script from mrtg.
