hi 

you can use the command "snmpget", if you're running a unix 
like system, directing the output of the snmpget to a file.

#snmpget <ipaddress> <community> <oid> >> /your/filename.txt

if you're running windowze, you need a command line 
application like snmputil. do a google search for "snmp4nt", 
and you will find these application.

mrtg stores the data from snmpget in a file, also. but the 
format isnt pretty easy to understand. take a look in the 
mrtg website, there is a section who explain the .log file 
format, if you want to use mrtg o to that.
