I um  <sheepish grin> deleted the original messages.  Sorry. 

It is just that I have found that when it appears that MRTG has suddenly
changed the way it works, it is usually because I overlooked an option
setting or something as simple as MaxBytes.

As Molt would say in A Bug's Life...
