Just remove the .my (leaving .mib) and restart.  All should be fine.
Make sure that the extension is .mib - that's my point.

I know this is not specifically related to MRTG but, I am using getif
2.2 to walk the MIB for the cisco devices we have, the problem is I
cannot seem to get any of the Cisco MIB's to load into MRTG, I have
noticed that the MIB's that are currently in the Getif directory all
have the .MIB extension and the Cisco MIB's are .my, I have deleted
the .index file before reload Getif and it still will not work.  I do
not have to much experience with SNMP if anyone could give a few
words of wisdom it would be greatly appreciated.
