[mrtg] switching from Rateup to RRDTool

hi all, 
we  try to switching from Rateup to RRDTool  , but it gives me the following error when i run the mrtg:

ERROR: Cannot tune logfile: invalid arguments for maximum ds value.

Do u have any suggestions ?
