I may be mistaken, but I think you need to build the configs
individually. They can all reside in a single file, but they have
to be built separately.

Hi all. I am new to mrtg. I am able to successfully configure a single
device at a time. However, when I try and list multiple routers in
my config file, the config maker utility runs fine. But when I try
and execute mrtg, I receive failures. Does anyone know why this is
happening, or how I can correct this? Also, is it not possible to view
vlan devices with MRTG?.
My config file... (names changed)
./cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /opt/apache/lib/htdocs/mrtg/routers'
--global 'Options[_]: bits,growright'
--output /opt/apache/lib/htdocs/mrtg/mrtg.cfg
--subdirs=HOSTNAME
--dns-domain=domain.com
--community=hidden router1
router2
router3
router4 > /opt/apache/lib/htdocs/mrtg.cfg
