[mrtg] RRDtool help

Hi all, I have recently installed and configured rrdtool for my mrtg environment.  It seems to work, but when I try and view graphs with mrtg-rrd.cgi script, I can see the links to all the routers/switches, but when I click on a link it tries to load an html page from that rotuers directory, and I receive an error that says...
Error: RRDs::graph failed, can't parse 's#ff0000'


Does anyone know why this is happening?  Also, how do I convert all of my old mrtg data to rrd data?
