I am using Getif, it shows me nothing when I poll chassisFanStatus. But when
I poll against Cisco switches, I can see some value. Probably the chassis
status SNMP support is not implemented in Cisco routers.

How are you trying to poll it? With snmpget, GetIf,
SNMPc, or something else? Usually, you need to add
a .0 to the end of the OID. Don't forget that MRTG
requires two values for each target, so putting
in one OID in the target line will cause all kinds
of errors to pop up.

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to monitor the chassis status(fan, power
supply and module status) of Cisco routers(26xx, 75xx, 72xx, 36xx). I was
trying to poll the MIB variable ChassisFanStatus etc, but it didn't give me
any value. Can someone kindly advise me how to get it work?

Thanks in advance!!
