I think you may need to remove the double quotes (or a a \ before each ") around $mrtgfile.

Hey - I know this has to have been done by someone else, but I am racking my
brain to figure it out. I am trying to create a perl script that will run
the standard MRTG script - here is my line:
$e = `call perl c:\\mrtg\\bin\\mrtg c:\\mrtg\\bin\\"$mrtgfile".cfg --logging
c:\\mrtg\\log\\"$mrtgfile".log`;

The error I get is:

ERROR: Creating lockfile c:\mrtg\bin"TestPingWAH.cfg_l: Invalid argument

I do not have a TestPingWAH.cfg_l file so I know it is not that. Any ideas?

I know this is more of a Perl question, but it is an MRTG error......

Thanks -
Brian
