I'm polling about 500 Interfaces on a dual Pentium Pro 200. I'm running nt4,
with 1/2 a gig of ram and the processors are at about 25% all day long. With
no major problems.

Subject: [mrtg] Re: Graph Scales
It's all based on what data is in the log file. If
you don't have enough traffic to make it scale, I
think the minimum will be 1 to 4k. If you had more
traffic last week, it will scale up to what it needs.
This assumes that you don't have "unscaled" set for
any of the graphs.

Can someone please provide an explanation as to the graph scale display on
MRTG (not using RDDtool). For example, my daily graphs show the traffic
level varying from 1000.0kto 4000.0k whereas the weekly graphs show the
scale as 1.0M to 5.6M. Is there a cut-off point at which rateup determines
the scale should increase from bits per sec to Mb per sec?
TIA
