Surly your T1 is full duplex (dedicated 193kbs in both directions) and not
half duplex (193kbs for total traffic, inbound + outbound, ie a modem).

Subject: [mrtg] MRTG Graph statistics

This is, I hope, a simple question. In reading a standard MRTG graph if the
link being monitored is say 193 kbs (T1) and at any point in time on the
graph it shows current in at 100 kbs and current out at 125 kbs, how is this
possible as the max rate is 193? Or even looking at the green an blue lines
over time they often would add up to far more than the total max throughput
of the connection. Am I reading this wrong?
