[mrtg] cable modem signal levels

I have a cable modem and I am interested in monitoring the
power levels (upstream and downstream) and also the signal
to noise.

I have a surfboard 4100, if anyone has experience of this
(even just interacting with the surfboard modem for traffic
analysis) please let me know!
