I've used the Compaq MIBs with great success - much more accurate than using
Win2k MIBs.

I didn't use LoadMIBs, just queried the MIB directly and everything worked
fine. You do need to make sure that the Insight Manager agents are running
on the server you are monitoring.

Also works on Tru64 servers.

I tried to do the same on some Compaq servers with Win2k on.
I used some Compaq specific mibs.
When using this cfg:
Options[_]: growright, bits
WorkDir: /var/www/html/mrtg
RunAsDaemon: Yes
LoadMIBs: /var/www/servers/mibs/CPQSTDEQ.MIB
Logformat: rrdtool
PathAdd: /usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.33/bin/
LibAdd: /usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.33/lib/perl/

Target[fileserver-cpu]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.232.1.2.2.1&1.3.6.1.4.1.232.1.2.2.1:public at 10.10.1.10
MaxBytes[fileserver-cpu]: 610000000
Title[fileserver-cpu]: Fileserver
Options[fileserver-cpu]: gauge, absolute
Unscaled[fileserver-cpu]: dwmy
PageTop[fileserver-cpu]: <H1>CPU</H1>

I got this error msg:
Daemonizing MRTG ...

If i snmpwalk it with the following command:
snmpwalk fileserver public 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.1.2.2.1
I get no result...that is it gives me nothing as response, it just shifts to
next line (is that normal?)
