[mrtg] RRDTool question

In the tutorial about RRDTool it mentions SNMPGET which only seems to be
available on unix.

there is a "DOS" version on simtelnet, but it just complains about:

socket: Networking subsystem not started
Couldn't open snmp

and cygwin doesn't have it either.
is there a version around for NT/2k?
