does the path exist and does the user that runs mrtg have appropriate
permissions to that directory?

I get the following output  when i run the MRTG.


 "Can't create templock /export/home/mrtg/kocnetcfg/mrtg.cfg_l_1170 at
/export/home/mrtg/mrtg-2.8.9/run/mrtg line 138."
