Hi Matt,

Thanks for your help...

Now I just want to know how to translate the name of the variable SNMP or
the OID's into real words.

For example, how do you know that the variable:

"locIfInputQueueDrops" => OID	"1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.26" and
"locIfOutputQueueDrops" => OID "1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.27"

both of them monitor the queue drops on a Cisco interface???

I know that the name of the variable is what it monitors... but is there an
easier table for it???

Some place where i can find exactly what the variable do???

Thanks in advance,
Wagner Garcia Campagner

If you wanted to monitor queue drops on a Cisco interface you would use the
OID like this:

Target[target]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.26.5&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.27.5:SMTP_PUB_STRING at TARGET
_IP_ADDRESS

The OID is ->1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.26 and the target interface is -> .5 ergo
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.26.5

You can really only monitor counters and gauges with MRTG (unless you do
traps 0-1 and have it kick off an alarm script)

Hello,

I am monitoring two Cisco devices: Cisco C-2600 and Cisco 3000.

Does anybody have some OID for me to monitor the CPU Load, Memory Usage,
Temperature, etc, etc...

Thanks in advance,
Wagner Garcia Campagner
