[mrtg] strange graph when computer is off

I use mrtg with snmpd to collect the traffic on my eth; the problem I have is 
that the time period when my computer is off is shown on graphic with a 
constant in/out traffic (http://petre.rdsbv.ro/~petre/localhost_3-week.png).

what am I doing wrong here ?
