[mrtg] How to alter the bandwidth scaling on graphs?

The bandwidth scaling on my graphs seems to be set dynamically.

I'm hoping to set the bandwidth to 100% of 512k (our dedicated bandwidth

I've tried editing the mrtg.cfg file ---

### Interface 1 >> Descr: 'Ethernet0' | Name: 'Et0' | Ip: ''
| Eth: '00-30-94-e6-25-d3' ###

Target[]: 1:AWEN-UK at
SetEnv[]: MRTG_INT_IP=""
MaxBytes[]: 5120000
[<------- set this to "512K"]
Title[]: Traffic Analysis for 1 -- advaworl01-gw.awr.org
PageTop[]: <H1>Traffic Analysis for 1 --
   <TR><TD>System:</TD> <TD>advaworl01-gw.awr.org in </TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>Maintainer:</TD> <TD></TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD>Ethernet0 </TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>ethernetCsmacd (6)</TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD>Et0</TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>512.0 kBytes/s</TD></TR>
[<------- set this to "512K"]
   <TR><TD>Ip:</TD> <TD>

Having made these changes, and restarted MRTG which I have running as a
Win32 daemon, this didn't make any difference to the graph showing on the
MRTG generated web page (I did refresh the web page showing in the browser)

Is it _possible_ to set the bandwidth scale to always show 512K max

PS; having looked at the CFG file again, I realise that I'm just setting
labels for the web page, not altering how the graphs are shown. This
doesn't alter my question though!
