[mrtg] total collected bytes

good day!

does anyone knows how to query the total collected/accumolated bytes
sent and received from any LAN Card? in this case my MRTG graph should
be increasing from 0 to to a certain number. and what is the default RFC
standard OID used by MRTG to graph incoming and outgoing traffic? thanks
a lot!
