Well, if your config is OK and most of the ports show accurate stats
then I can only suggest to manually check the SNMP counters.
Look the index up (on the switch: show port ifindex) and fetch the
counters using snmpget:
snmpget device community .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.number \
.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.number
(of course: fill in device, community and number).
These numbers should roughly match the first line of the .log file.
If they don't, something fails when MRTG queries the device.
Wait for 5 minutes and query the counters again.
Subtract the first fetched values from the newly fetched values,
check if the results are below 300. If they are, there is less
than 1 byte per second and thus MRTG cannot plot anything as there
is not enough traffic.
