[mrtg] RRDTool update script

I am currently struggling with a perl script that I wrote that uses Net-SNMP
to do a snmpwalk on a device and get the returned values into RRDTool. I can
get the script to consistantly return the snmp values that I want but can't
seem to get them into RRDTool by using the rrdtool update command in my
script. Does anyone know the correct sytax to do that?
