[mrtg] Monitoring 9am to 5pm

Has anyone written any scripts or know of any way to monitor just a certain time period ?

I want to track average usage between 9am and 5pm and was hoping someone else had already
experimented with doing this. I'd like to see the long term (weekly,monthly, yearly trends) and I'm not
 looking forward to writing a script that on a daily basis retrieves the correct times, averages them out, 
stores them and then graphs the results.
