[mrtg] Ethernet interfaces that are unplugged dont show up

When I change:

which is: change the max bytes and uncomment like it was an active interface
there is no graph made and the html then decides to come up on the preceding
interfaces web page, ie fast ethernet 0/9
even if I use the unknzero option it still does it.
Is there any way to make these interfaces show up even if they are unplugged
