I'm sure Scott meant to send this to the whole mailing list.
The only way I can think of this is ....how are you providing the IPs ..is 
it DHCP or Static. If Static then the only way is to monitor the Ethernet 
Switch if not the best way is to have SNMP on the individual machines.
