[mrtg] OIDs

Hi,

I've read the entire FAQs and documentations of MRTG, but could not find any website or information pertaining to geting one's required OIDs. Where would be the best place to look for OIDs, if say, i would want to measure a particular CPU's temperature?

Also, is there any way to determine the OIDs in a desktop computer or Cisco router via some 'commands'??
