[mrtg] Re: Monitoring IP

We use the Westel DSL modems, so the IP is physically on the computer.
We're using a RedBack router/server, but I don't know enough about
RedBack to be able to say whether it will do anything or not. We've got
one of our CO Tech's that handel all the DSL Installs. I maintain the
servers, and keep the network running. If anyone knows if RedBack
supports snmp, and how to configure it, I'de be glad to give it a shot.

Thanks,
Scott Miller

Scott

For your DSL customers When provising there DSL modem do you assign a
IP address to it ?

If so then you can graph in and out of that modem and not have to worry
about the customers computer having SNMP as the dsl modem Should have it
already
