It is possible that if you were graphing just using the ifIndex number, that
it could have changed. A router will usually do this after a reboot if new
interfaces have been added. You may want to try using the --ifref=descr
switch when running cfgmaker, and work off the interface name instead of the
ifIndex #, that way, when you reboot, you'll still be able to graph fine.

Hi all,

I have noticed that if I upgrade the IOS on my Cisco router that MRTG
stops being able to graph it.  Is this normal.  I have been removing the
router from my conf file and re cfgmaker the router to get it going
again.  Anyone else notice this???
