The config file I am working with has whatever it found when I first ran
cfgmaker against this switch. SCO just happens to be the first listed in
the config that I grabbed as an example.
I am trying to monitor all the traffic on each port in this switch.
Thanks

what is it that you are trying to monitor here? - that OID looks like
interface description - not sure what that #sc0 is

Subject: [mrtg] SNMP Response errors
Below is my issue. This is on a Cisco 6500 Switch.
****************************************************************************
****************
SNMP Error:
no response received
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "10.0.0.4" [10.0.0.4].161)
community: "mycommunity"
request ID: 2103646371
PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
timeout: 2s
retries: 5
backoff: 1)
SNMPWALK Problem for 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2 on mycommunity at 10.0.0.4
SNMP Error:
no response received
****************************************************************************
******************
If I use Getif on the above OID, I get info back. If I use snmputil I get
the following:
****************************************************************************
******************
C:\>snmputil get 10.0.0.4 mycommunity .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2
Error: errorStatus=2, errorIndex=1
C:\>snmputil get 10.0.0.4 mycommunity .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.0
Error: errorStatus=2, errorIndex=1
****************************************************************************
******************
Now, looking at my config file, I don't even see that OID in it anywhere, my
config uses descriptions or something like #sc0. So
1. Anyone know what might be wrong?
2. How do I find out which part of my config is in error?
