[mrtg] Re: Installing MIBs for PSAX

What type of PSAX is it?  I am monitoring two PSAX-2300 switches with ATM
DS-3 and OC-3 cards in them.

If I remember correctly, I was unable to use cfgmaker to auto-create the
config files.  I ended up loading the MIB into a mib-browser, figuring out
what I wanted to monitor, and building a .cfg by hand.

BTW, the ethernet ports on the PSAX control module are for management only,
there's no traffic and no real reason to monitor them.

Here's a snipped of my config file if it would help:

I'm having a problem installing two MIBs files for a
PSAX Frame Relay switch. It seems that the PSAX does 
not reply on the usual SNMP queries MRTG sends. 
The CFGMAKER reports does not report a problem on 
runtime, but only in the config file created. 
It seems it DOES recognize the network interfaces and 
all, but I'm not sure it reads the MIBs correctly.
I execute it with the following command:

MRTG is running on a Windows 2000 Server, and seems to
work good on other types of equipment we have (though
without
MIBs..)
