[mrtg] Config for only one interface with cfgmaker

Hi MRTG-experts,

which parameters are needed to generate a config-file for *one*
interface of a host using cfgmaker?
(I´m using MRTG 2.9.18pre11)

I want to get a config-file for localhosts´ interface no. 2.
(Target[localhost_2]: 2:public at localhost:)

But
        ../bin/cfgmaker 2:localhost
doesn´t work.

What is the correct syntax?
