Hi,
I just installed the MRTG as a service on a Windows NT server...
I get the statistics that i want, but after a wile (2 days), the server gets REAL heavy
When i open the system monitor, y can see that the perl is ussing 100% of the CPU and a lot of memory (increases with time). I can also see that that the process have been running for a lot of time..
If i then stop the service and try to eliminate the perl process, the sistem tells me Permision DENIED.
So i can only restart the server to eliminate the process...
What is happening?????
For example..
I start the mrtg as a service today at 6 PM (using MRTG Statistic Updater or Firedaemon), everything works fine, the perl process is started every 5 minutes and the MRTG stats are updated , but after 3 days (without restarting the server) i see that the server is HEAVY,.. when i log on and use the system monitor i see that the perl process is using 100% of CPU and 32000k of memory (and increasing) and the perl process show that it's been running for 32 Hours...
If i started the MRTG 3 days ago, it should be 72 Hours.. so i supose that it has been 32 hours since something happened that is not letting the perl process finish.
