[mrtg] Shasta 5000 ATM wrong statistics

Im trying to graph ATM E3 card on Shasta 5000.

    But since Ive start to monitor this card on Slot 12 /port 2 , it
shows 34Mb/s incoming (99%) and 251kb/s outgoing (0.7%)
This value is wrong , since I know that we only have at least 1 or 2 meg
of traffic going through not the 34Mb that shows Mrtg.
    Do I have to add something to my target line??

        Can someon help me out please ?
