Do you have Options: gauge in your config for the active connections?

my log for my network I monitor (without SNMP):
-----------------------------------------------
1037199914 1487966673 533605667
1037199914 35748 12831 35748 12831
1037199614 37963 11400 37963 11400
1037199600 36317 10906 37963 11400
1037199300 0 0 0 0
1037199000 0 0 0 0
...
-----------------------------------------------

my log for the "active connections chart" (which doesn't work):
-----------------------------------------------
1037199913 282 500
1037199913 0 0 0 0
1037199614 0 0 0 0
...
-----------------------------------------------

quite a difference huh?
I recognize the 2nd and 3rd value..282 is the current active connections
value
and 500 is a fixed value (echo 500) which should leed to a vertical line...
At first glance I thought crontab might not be set up correctly. well it is.
I hope I could throw some light on the problem :]

best regards, D.W.
