After lowering the maxbyte value, nothing happened... :-(( The statistics
still show me 0.00 :-((((((((((
I think i will try to get some stat. info from the interface up-down status.

Is the MaxBytes figure not to low ? if the reading is higher
then maxbytes MRTG will ignore the number..

does somebody know why i didn't get any stat information from a cisco 3640
router (MICA digital modem module) async lines?
The async lines is heavily used according to the sh lines:
