[mrtg] MRTG + ping probe

hi,

I'm using MRTG version 2.9.17 and ping probe version 2.4 on a W2k platform.
I have quite a lot of graphic and ping running on my config file and I have 
one concern :
I'm using the W2K ping program and the program execute ping by ping. I have 
already reduce the number of ping per gateway but it takes too much time to 
run all the ping.
does someone have any idea how to fix this issue ?
I know it's possible to run another ping program, do you know one ?
