Heres my configs:
### Interface 134 >> Descr: '' | Name: '5/1' | Ip: '' | Eth: '00-e0-1e-b6-02-20' ###
Target[Cat-Switch_134]: 134:snmp at Cat-Switch:
SetEnv[Cat-Switch_134]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR=""
MaxBytes[Cat-Switch_134]: 12500000
Title[Cat-Switch_134]: 134 -- Cat-Switch
PageTop[Cat-Switch_134]: <H1>134 -- Cat-Switch</H1>
<TABLE>
<TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>Full Duplex Fast Ethernet (100BaseFX) (69)</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD>5/1</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>100 Mbit/s</TD></TR>
</TABLE>
This one is on a 5505 (connecting to another 5505) and gives me no output as though no traffic was passing but no errors from MRTG!
### Interface 89 >> Descr: '' | Name: '5/1' | Ip: '' | Eth: '00-01-97-2d-71-fc' ###
Target[Cat-Switch_89]: 89:snmp at Cat-Switch:
SetEnv[Cat-Switch_89]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR=""
MaxBytes[Cat-Switch_89]: 12500000
Title[Cat-Switch_89]: 89 -- Cat-Switch
PageTop[Cat-Switch_89]: <H1>89 -- Cat-Switch</H1>
<TABLE>
<TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>ethernetCsmacd (6)</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD>5/1</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>100 Mbits/s</TD></TR>
</TABLE>
This one is on a 6509 (connecting to another 6509) and gives me a very small amount of traffic (<1kbit/s IN and <100kbit/s OUT) which is definately wrong as these are core switches for a 1000+ user LAN!!!
Any help greatly appreciated
Michael

Subject: [mrtg] 100Mb Fibre Interfaces on Cisco Cat5000 and 6000
Hi there,
Monitoring loads of stuff now on my WAN, PVC's, Leased Lines, 1Gb
uplinks, CPU's, backplanes etc etc.
Got a little issue though.
I'm monitoring my 100Mbit fibre interfaces on Cat 6509 and 5505's which
are uplinks to other Cat switches and I either get no output, very low
output or output in one direction only (e.g. In traffic, no out).
I'm using just the standard MRTG configmaker no special OID's etc, any
advice?
Thanks
Michael
