You have to select the proper instance.  Try .9  --  it's .0 on the routers,
and usually .9 on CatOS.
But that will only work if you have newer code.

The other question is - why bother?  CPU on the 5500 is about the most
useless thing - that just tells you how much network management is going on.
The real work of the box is happening on the EARL chip, and there are no
monitors for that.

Has anybody been succesfull in getting the cpu load from a Cisco 5509
switch? I've searched through the archive of various lists, but haven't
able to come up with a solution.

I tried various OID's, like the one found in de CISCO-PROCESS-MIB and
one found at

They all don't work.
