Like it says in the documentation:

"Note, that unless you are using rrdtool you can not 
set Interval to less than 5 minutes. If you are using 
rrdtool you can set interval down to 1 Minute. Note 
though, setting the Interval for an rrdtool/mrtg setup 
will influence the initial creation of the database. 
If you change the interval later, all existing 
databases will remain at the resolution they were 
initially created with."

So, are you using RRDTool?

dear sir,

i hv installed mrtg-2.9.21 on rh linux with rrdtools

i set interval for 2 mins.

when i view the graph thru web browser, i can see that the interval is correct (every 2 mins, the clock is updated in the screen) but graph is showing only old data. the graph information changing only after every 5 mins..

pl help me do i change graph information every 2 mins....
(i refreshed the browser often).

it would be grateful to u, if u could reply at the earliest.
