Are you sure it isn't an instance re-numbering issue?  Do these outages
correlate with reboots of the switches?  We don't have any Dell switches
but it would seem that most switches renumber the interface instance
numbers when they restart.

If there is no longer an instance ".1" then the SNMP request would
fail...
